school’s not just for learning…

it seems it is also a  great place to fall in love!

At least that’s what happened when the school’s amazing IT wizard happened upon a lovely kindergarten teacher. Let’s just say her classroom computers were fixed and checked on often and the rest is history as they say! We thank you, L and J,  for allowing us to photograph your wonderful wedding and we are hoping you are enjoying a peaceful getaway. Here are a couple sneak peeks that you can see when you get back, as I am sure J didn’t bring along any electronics on the honeymoon!

I love how you can see her joy in not only their smiles but also in their eyes!

Although, to be honest, some of their joy may be caused by my promise to stop running after them, snapping away, after this shot.

I do so love shooting people in love… ahhh… it just melts me

(he actually shot most of this, I was just his second shooter)

I loved these girls ~ their energy was marvelous.

Seriously, jumping in the fountain was just p.e.r.f.e.c.t.

I know L would have been right in fountain with them if they were near the fountain after the reception.

yes, I did keep her out way too long, but I let her go right before she passed out from hunger… that’s something isn’t it?

I love that you “get it” and will follow the “light” wherever it may lead us ~ even the dumpster

you would make Tyra proud with your relaxed model face (very difficult to do while jumping) your awesome legs (bent in a perfectly lady-like fashion) and your high energy while maintaining eye contact! America’s Next Top Model anyone?

fortunate because I got to spend the evening with miss B… I don’t want to embarrass you miss B, but I have to say that you have grown into such a lovely, kind young lady and I am quite sure that you will leave your mark on this world sooner than later…

thank you for allowing me to photograph your senior pictures and I hope that your senior year is the best year yet and that it flies by for you: I know you are so ready for college.

see internet? I wasn’t kidding… these are the mystery serenaders (is that a word?) that came out to sing to miss B as we were shooting

I won’t repeat the song, although very flattering, it will embarrass miss B too much if I do… I really want to though

 

can you imagine trying to learn calculus or scientific theories while seated next to her in High School?

It’s a miracle any young men pass their classes these days!

senior serenade, stalker and police

That’s what happens when this girl steps out to do her senior shoot. 

Men serenade her from balconies, men stalk her to try and get “their own photo” and policemen take breaks just to be in the shot with her! What a wild session we had: soooooo much fun and don’t get me started on the dumpsters and mattress jumping!

what can I say miss B, you are just that incredible inside and out…

 

 mama C was right about this…no wonder they sing as you walk past!

I edited until 2am last night and haven’t left the computer today… I am having too much fun editing your images… will be posting more tomorrow but had to show you this!
