like a summer breeze…

These kiddos are like a summer breeze in the middle of the Sahara… just what you need… or at least what I needed!

I was thrilled to spend some time with them and must admit that these images are chosen willy-nilly because there isn’t a bad one in the bunch and they all made me smile, take a breath and just enjoy what is my life… some kids just do that to you…

heaven sent…

 I had to take a minute and show you this bundle that is straight from heaven. He is just so beautiful and sweet ~ and so very fresh from heaven.

Welcome to the world little S…

a very happy ( and gorgeous) mama ~ she doesn’t own sweats or hair clippies I am certain, she always has that radiant in love look about her… 8 months pregnant or  just home from the hospital after a lengthy delivery, no problem for mama S just give her a minute and bam! supermodel mom ~ and she is a nice as she looks.

 just look at that precious face, those tiny fingers and gorgeous eyes, don’t get me started on his lips and “cooing” abilities… ahhhhh heaven

he is only 8 days old and already paying attention to his parents and the world around him, he’s a smarty-pants already…

gotta get those baby feet, I love how you can see mom’s ring, dad’s hand, baby feet creases and even the prick from the heel test…

I adore how he is looking at little S, proud papa…

 a bundle of joy…oh yeah, and supermom MADE the blanket, of course!!

my hear just aches…

for some reason my hubby is just walking around shaking his head mumbling “don’t even think about it”

what he reads minds now??

with gratitude…

 

it is with gratitude that I remember and celebrate the lives of all those who have given theirs so that I may have mine… here… in the best country (not perfect but best)… how very blessed I am to have been born here, to grow up in a place where I am free to worship God, to work where I want,  to live where I want, to marry who I want, to raise our children the way we want… the list of our freedoms here are endless… our privileges too numerous to count… all that clean water alone is enough to make me grateful for a lifetime…

so thank you to ALL who serve this wonderful country of ours… I pray for you and your loved ones… may God bless and keep you, may He make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you, may He lift up his countenance and give you His peace
